PASTORAL COUNSEL

Some seasons don't resolve on their own. Some questions need more than time. And some moments simply call for a brother, a sister, family, someone who will sit with you and help you see clearly.

We walk with people. That is what this is.

Pastoral Counsel through AHAVAH is an open door, whether you are carrying a hard season, crisis, grief, spiritual wilderness, relational fracture, the quiet sense that something essential has gone missing, or simply want to process life with someone who will listen well and bring the living Word to bear on what is real. You do not need a crisis to walk through this door. Sometimes you just need family.

Sessions are available one-on-one, as a couple, by video, phone, in person, or in retreat and immersive formats. Ongoing spiritual direction is available for those in longer seasons of formation.

SAMUEL TRUEBEDOOR

Samuel has spent the better part of two decades in active, Holy Spirit led ministry. He has taught, led, and shepherded across a wide range of communities, sat with people in the rawest hours of crisis, and watched them break through. His own road has not been easy. He and his family have walked long seasons of physical trial, chronic illness, and despair, and come through to real, deep overcoming. He does not counsel from theory. He counsels from ground he has walked himself, and that is why people call him a safe place.

His distinctive gift is seeing the pattern underneath the story. Drawing from the Hebraic roots of Scripture and the living principles encoded in the original Hebrew letters, pictographs, and narratives, Samuel helps people locate their own story admist the chaos, and the light, inside the larger story, finding God's love within. He brings the Scriptures to life with a clarity that lands in the chest, not just the mind, connecting the movements of the heart, the leading of the Spirit, and the wisdom of a loving and just Creator. People leave his sessions not with more information, but with a truer picture of who they are.

There is a rare steadiness in how he walks with people. As the eldest of nine siblings in a large extended family, and now a husband and father himself, he carries a deep, lived understanding of family, covenant, and what it means to stay present with someone in the hard middle of their story. This is sharpened by a background in harmonic resonance and spatial acoustics, built through years in the music industry and as a Sales Engineer at Sweetwater Sound, an ear trained to notice what is out of tune, in a room or in a life, and to help bring it back into resonance. Sessions carry a marinade quality: truth, clarity, and care working slowly and deeply. People walk away with fresh encouragement, a clearer sense of who they are and what God is doing in their lives, and often, tears of gratitude and real hope for what is next.

Samuel offers one on one pastoral sessions, prophetic counsel, Word anchored teaching, and spiritual covering for individuals, couples, and ministry leaders.

ANGELYNNE TRUEBEDOOR

Angelynne has spent more than thirty years in ministry, music, and holistic care, walking with people through seasons of crisis, breakthrough, and restoration. Her own road has held real fire: surviving Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, weeks in a burn center, seasons in a wheelchair, years fighting Lyme disease, and a day she died and was raised again. These fires did not harden her. They opened her ears to hear God with unusual clarity and gave her a deep well of compassion for anyone walking through the fire themselves.

Her distinctive gift is hearing with startling accurately. She hears the Lord in words, in tone and frequency, in the story beneath the story, and in the deep heart of the matter. Angelynne helps people see themselves as the Father sees them, uncovering the Christ-given identity and the song He has been singing over them since before they were formed. Zephaniah 3:17 says He rejoices over us with singing, and session after session, people find that this is not a metaphor. It is something they can feel.

There is an inherent gentleness in how she leads people through hard places. As a wife and mother, and a woman who has walked her own valleys of grief, trauma, and physical suffering, she carries a natural understanding of what it costs to keep trusting God through the fire, and what it means to come out the other side whole. This is paired with decades of formal training in sound therapy, voice, dance, and trauma response. Sessions weave together prayer, sound, breathwork, movement, and prophetic insight, and people regularly leave with fresh identity, real tears, and unexpected hope.

Angelynne offers one on one pastoral sessions, sound therapy, prophetic counsel, and ongoing spiritual accompaniment for those in longer seasons of restoration and formation, for individuals, couples, and ministry leaders.

TOGETHER

AHAVAH means love, and that is the spirit this whole ministry is built on. Samuel and Angelynne walk with people not as distant counselors but as family, brother and sister to those who come through this door. Sessions together bring the fullness of both gifts into the room, his depth in the Hebraic Scriptures and pattern recognition, her prophetic hearing and sound ministry, but the together part is bigger than that. It is the posture of the whole ministry. You are not a client here. You are welcomed in.

Individuals, couples, and ministry leaders are all welcome, whatever season brought you here, heavy or light, in crisis or simply curious to go deeper.
