Statement of Belief
AHAVAH Association
AHAVAH exists to gather His Body and strengthen His people, championing one another, carrying the Light of Messiah into the world, embodying the living realities of His Kingdom in encounter, in service, in song, in story lived together.
Living Epistles of His Grace
We are vessels, stewarding source from the flow of union. The river that flows through AHAVAH is His life-giving Spirit, is & was & is to come flowig as perfect love.
It is this Spirit, balanced, living, and present, that we look to embody and connect. When believers gather in this alignment, something supernatural happens. What has been divided finds harmony. What has been hidden finds light. What has been deferred is discovered to be already present, already given, already here.
AHAVAH exists to help embody those moments of encounter, spaces where the Body of Messiah finds itself drawn together by the pull of this life-giving Spirit. We come alongside through sound and music, through teaching and poetry, artistic expression, through movement and contemplative prayer, through pastoral counsel and, through collaboration that honours every stream and serves every need. These are gateways of encounter through which the river has the abilltity to flow.
We are here for mutual edification. We are here to be about our Father's business. We are here to discover together what been provided in and through our union with Messiah, and to live it out, together, now.
Every partnership we enter, we enter as family.
Who We Are
AHAVAH (אהבה) is the Hebrew word most commonly translated as love, but its root meaning reaches deeper than sentiment. It speaks of the essence of the Father's heart turned outward: giving, revealing, pouring forth. It is the love that acts. The love that costs. The love that rescues.
The name of our association is also a description of our mission. We exist to see the character, the name, of Yeshua ישוע known, sown, and shared. In Hebrew, a name (shem, שֵׁם) is not merely a label. It is the living expression of character, nature, and purpose. When we speak of carrying His Name, we mean carrying the living nature of who He is: His goodness, His mercy, His justice, His liberty, His severity, His joy.
His mother called Him Yeshua ישוע. The angel announced it before He drew breath. The prophets had been leaning toward it for centuries, Isaiah singing of wells of salvation with joy:
With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. Isaiah 12:3
The Name is a living declaration. In it is carried everything the Father has always been toward His people: rescue, deliverance, healing, the liberty of one who has been found. Every syllable is a promise that preceded Him and a reality that followed. He arrived as salvation itself, named before birth, announced by prophets, sung across centuries, and spoken tenderly by the one who held Him first.
She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Yeshua, for he will save his people from their sins. Matthew 1:21
We call Him this because it is His Name. Given. Ancient. Alive. And in that Name is held everything He came to be for us.
This is what we are here to steward.
I. The Father, יהוה, The One Who Is
He is יהוה, the eternal One. He was. He is. He is to come. Always present, always moving, always faithful.

IV. אחד, One
אחד
One. Undivided. Eternal. Without beginning or end.
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is One. Deuteronomy 6:4
He is the source, the sustainer, and the summation of all things. And within that oneness, Scripture opens up living dimensions that cause us dynamic wonder.
The Father who sends. The eternal source, from whom all love originates, the fountain of all life and covenant.
The Son who comes. The Word made flesh, the fullness of the Father expressed and embodied, the exact imprint of His nature.
The Spirit who dwells. The presence of God made intimate, poured into our hearts, moving within us and among us.
One movement. One Being. One love.
I and the Father are one. John 10:30
He who has seen me has seen the Father. John 14:9
I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, to be with you forever. John 14:16
There is an ancient word our forefathers penned for this inner life of God - perichoresis, the eternal mutual indwelling, each fully present in the others, a movement of love so complete that nothing is withheld and nothing is lost. And the staggering truth of the Gospel is that this communion goes on in dynamic embrace and welcome.
That they may be one, even as we are one. John 17:22
To unite all things in Him, things in heaven and things on earth. Ephesians 1:10
One family. Heaven and earth.
V. The Living Word
All Scripture is breathed out by God. 2 Timothy 3:16
We believe the Holy Scriptures,as a flowing of the whole counsel of God, are the inspired, living, and sufficient Word of God, fully authoritative in all matters of faith and life.
The Word is first and foremost alive. It is the living voice of the One who is steadfast, no shadow of turning, speaking across every age with the same authority, the same love, and the same invitation.
The word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword. Hebrews 4:12
Beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, He interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself. Luke 24:27
Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:27
We seek to know Him, to bear His Name, His character, His nature, His love, and to be legible to the world around us as letters written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God.
VI. Salvation, Yeshua, Now and Forever
We believe in salvation, Yeshua: rescue, deliverance, healing, restoration, and liberty. This is a word about a relationship with the Diving Shepard.
He came as salvation itself, embodied and present.
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8-9
Salvation is eternity invading the all in all. Healing, freedom, wholeness, the restoration of identity, the full inheritance of the Father: these are not deferred realities. They are present-tense provisions, secured by the finished work of Yeshua ישוע and administered by the Holy Spirit.
Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you. Philippians 2:12-13
We are not merely heralds of these realities. We are stewards of them.
VII. The Body of Messiah, One Family
One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. Ephesians 4:5-6
We believe in one holy, universal, and apostolic Church, the Body of Messiah, gathered from every nation, tribe, tongue, and expression of the family of God across every age.
AHAVAH exists to serve and strengthen that Body. We honour the whole family of God across every age and expression. We seek to champion what the Spirit is bringing to light in this hour, connecting believers through empowerment resources seeking to embody the Heart & Spirit of union in Yeshua's, opening Scripture's depths, deepening encounter with the Father, and equip every tribe and tongue to carry the Name and nature of Yeshua ישוע into the world.
Where the Church has been fragmented, we believe the Spirit is drawing it back into harmony. One family, on heaven and on earth, together.
VIII. Resurrection and the Life to Come
Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. 1 Corinthians 15:20-22
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Yeshua ישוע is the firstfruits; His victory over death is the guarantee and the pattern of ours.
Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be His people. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more. Revelation 21:3-4
IX. The Faith Once Delivered, Our Stewardship
Contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints. Jude 1:3
We hold fast to the faith once delivered. We do not invent new truth. We steward what has always been there, carried in Scripture, safeguarded by our forefathers, preserved across every generation, and now entrusted to this one.
The Kingdom of God is at hand.
As He is, so also are we in this world. 1 John 4:17
You are the light of the world. Matthew 5:14
We are called to look like Him, to carry His nature, His healing, His justice, His love, and His Light into every sphere of life. That light is the light of the One who spoke creation into being and who now shines through those who bear His Name.
This is the stewardship AHAVAH is embracing.
This is the song we are awake to.
This we believe. This we proclaim. This we live.
In Yeshua ישוע, unto the Father, by the Holy Spirit.
